Welcome to our clinic. We are delighted that you have chosen to have your care here.

Your first visit

After listening to your concerns we examine you thoroughly and discuss whether you might need an x-ray. During your examination you may be asked to undress to your underwear in a private room. A gown is provided or you are welcome to bring a pair of shorts. If you are uncomfortable about this please let us know. You may bring someone with you or we can provide a chaperone.

Once we’ve diagnosed the problem we discuss the choices you have, which may include referring you to another specialist. If we can help, we’ll explain your treatment options simply and clearly and give you all the information you need to decide what’s best.

We’ll also explain the costs fully, and we’re happy to spend time answering any questions you have. The important thing to us is that you’re involved at every stage and that we get you better, fast.

Our Guarantee

Our practice is based on the simple truth that if we satisfy and delight our clients, they will get well faster and be more likely to tell others about their experience.

As results vary, we can’t guarantee you will definitely get better, but we can guarantee your satisfaction.  So, if within fourteen days of beginning care, you are not completely happy with your decision to begin care, we will happily refund the money you’ve paid us.  With chiropractic, since most spinal problems involve muscles and soft tissues, which are slow to heal, continued care is often required for maximum improvement. However, within this trial period, we expect you will know that consulting our clinic was a wise decision.

Appointments

We work to appointment times, so clients who are on time have preference over clients who arrive either early or late.

We will outline a specific plan of care for you, which requires a certain number of treatments within a certain period of time. This is determined by your examination findings and, if you maintain it, should give you the results we both want. So if you need to change an appointment, it is best to reschedule on the same day or the next one.

We may charge for cancelled or missed appointments without 24 hours notice.

Risks and Benefits

Chiropractic and physiotherapy are extremely safe. Minor complications can include soreness and stiffness after treatment.  This happens to about 1 person in 20.  Serious complications after low back treatment, such as disc rupture, can cause trapping of the nerves in the spinal cord.  Serious complications after neck treatment, such as a stroke, are very rare and only occur once in two to five million treatments.  To put it in perspective, this is safer than crossing the road and safer than the drugs used to treat these conditions.

Complaints

If there is anything that bothers you during the course of your treatment please tell us immediately so we can do our best to sort it out.
