At Sundial Clinics we work hard to find out what is wrong. That’s why we have physiotherapists, chiropractors and massage therapists to help you.

If you have a question about the price of the treatments at Sundial Clinics, you are sure to find your answer here. In this section we have compiled all the frequently asked pricing questions we have received over the years.

Chiropractic

What does the price of your first visit include?

We usually treat you on your first visit but before that we listen to why you have come to see us and ask you about how the problem started, what you think caused it. Then we carry out the most thorough examination your bones and joints are ever likely to have.

We do:-

Neurological examination

  • Balance
  • Co-ordination
  • Muscle strength
  • Skin senses
  • Reflexes

Orthopaedic examination

  • Joint movement
  • Ligament tests
  • Muscle palpation

Spinal examination

  • General range of movement
  • Each individual spinal bone movement
  • Pelvic bone movement

Blood pressure and other vital signs if required

Using this thorough approach we usually find the cause of the problem and can then discuss with you about how best to sort it out. We are lucky to have a great team with different skills and backgrounds to get you going again as quickly as possible. We will offer various treatment options including whether we feel you need an onward referral.

We then email you with the results of our tests, our diagnosis and the treatment plan we have agreed together.

Price £55

This includes any treatment, laser therapy, exercises and ergonomic advice given at this first visit.

What does the price of a treatment include?

At subsequent treatments we listen to how you have been coming along and then examine the relevant areas again. We re-do key tests which let us know how your body has responded to the last session and then treat you again.

Then we recheck out findings to confirm an improvement in what we are measuring. Finally we go over the exercises and ergonomic advice needed and agree your next visit schedule.

As the treatment sessions progress we often build up a detailed picture of your lifestyle, your work, hobbies, sports and other activities. This helps us give you the best advice to avoid a recurrence of your problem.

Price £38

What does the price not include?

The price does not include any nutritional supplements, support belts, orthopaedic pillows and other supplies that we might recommend. We will only recommend products that we think will make a big difference to how you respond to our care or will significantly help prevent a recurrence.

How many treatments will I require?

It depends how long you have had the problem; how old you are; how fit you are; how serious your problem is; your lifestyle; stress levels; diet and whether you follow our advice on rehabilitation exercises and visit frequency.

For example, a fit young person with a one week history of back pain, may need two to four sessions. An older person with a long history of recurring back pain may need six to ten sessions to get better.

Usually you will respond best to two visits a week for the first week or two and then less frequently as you improve.

Physiotherapy

What is the price of a consultation?

If this is the first time you have been to Sundial the fee is £55. If you have been to Sundial before then this fee is waived and a normal treatment fee applies.
