Osteoarthritis Care Package Saving

Safe and effective arthritis treatment is something that many of us will need as we get older. But what works and what doesn’t? NICE recommends exercise, mobilisation/manipulation, cushioning insoles and anti-inflammatory cream amongst other things. Also there is some evidence that laser therapy and glucosamine can help too. We will provide:-

1 chiropractic check up
A thorough assessment will show problems with joint function which can affect arthritis

4 physiotherapy sessions
Our physio will assess overall function, carry out physical therapy and advise on important exercises.

10 laser or ultrasound sessions
These treatments help reduce pain and inflammation and improve healing.

3 month supply of Glucosamine Sulphate
The best form of Glucosamine, this helps repair joint cartilage and reduce pain

1 pot of Capsaicin cream
Nice recommend this for pain relief, it works. Capsaicin cream works by blocking the nerves that send pain messages, although you may have to use it for a while before it has an effect. You should experience some pain relief within the first two weeks of using the cream, but it may take up to a month before the treatment is fully effective.
