Amanda Aston BSc (Hons) MSc (Chiro) DC MRCC LRCC (Animal)
Chiropractor
A born and bred Brighton girl I have been fascinated by chiropractic since watching my Mum receive treatment when I was 10 years old and then having care myself from a teenager for whiplash after a rollercoaster incident and numerous sporting injuries over the years!
I found my own place in the profession after a number of years, graduating from the University of Surrey with a masters in Chiropractic following an undergraduate degree in Physiology at the University of Leicester. I worked in a number of clinics in Essex, Surrey and Sussex before starting here at Sundial Clinics, working with Matthew who encouraged me to pursue a career myself in chiropractic several years ago!
I have a special interest in family chiropractic care and treating pregnant women and am a member of the Paediatric Faculty of the Royal College of Chiropractors, regularly attending courses to keep up to date on research and further my knowledge.
Outside of the clinic I can usually be seen out walking on the Sussex Downs or giggling my way through a doggy dancing or agility class with my 1 year old British Timber Dog ‘Muki’ – who has been seen visiting the Sundial clinic on a number of occasions and featuring on our Twitter page with Matthew!
Amanda starts ballet lessons. Read about her journey here.
